The Environment
Freddie believes that we have a moral obligation to protect our environment. With five freeways running through Pomona (10, 57, 71, and 60), the effects on air quality in our city are enormous, especially for our children.
In Pomona, Freddie’s priorities on the environment are:
Fighting air pollution by supporting clean transportation initiatives
Investing in sustainable and affordable public transit options
Making sure that area drinking water is clean and safe for all residents and businesses
Reduce traffic and pollution by creating local jobs that don’t require a commute
