Special Election Tuesday, September 24 2013
Vote Freddie Rodriguez: The ONLY candidate endorsed by Teachers, Firefighters, Nurses, and the Democratic Party.
For the past 28 years, I have proudly served our community as an Emergency Responder, Pomona City Councilmember, and community leader. I have helped keep our families and seniors safe, protected vital public safety services like police and fire from budget cuts, generated new job opportunities, helped keep predators away from schools and kids, and delivered balanced budgets during tough economic times.
During 7 years on the Pomona City Council, I have helped bring people together and deliver results for the community. While Sacramento was slashing public safety funding, I fought to protect vital firefighting services threatened by budget cuts and cracked down on illegal gang activity.
I lead the effort to make our neighborhoods safer by expanding neighborhood watch programs and protected funding for anti-gang programs. Working with business and community leaders, I helped local small businesses grow, created good paying jobs, and brought new economic opportunities to the region.
As an Emergency Responder for over 25 years, I worked on the front lines of keeping families, seniors, and children safe. I was honored to received the California Star of Life award for making lifesaving rescues.
Now, I'm running for Assembly to continue fighting for our community. I will lead the fight to make healthcare more affordable, protect consumers, keep our neighborhoods safe, and ensure every student has access to a quality education. I will bring a proven record of solving tough problems, getting things done, and making real improvements in people’s lives to the State Assembly.
Please join State Senator Norma Torres, local small business owners, Democrats and community leaders who are coming together to support my campaign.
I would be honored to have your support.
